According to the Rhona Hoffman Gallery in Chicago, Siebren Versteeg has exhibited his work extensively and reasserts distance by waiting two weeks before responding to international emails. Most recently he was prosecuted, assaulted, and held for three hours in a Prague grocery chain after attempting to steal a milk crate for his installation in the International Biennial there. He currently works and lives in New York.
